Information about the play: The first was Murder in Rehearsal which we performed in Bilpin in 2006. A Taste For Murder involves members of the somewhat dysfunctional Banks family who are gathered to celebrate the return of the daughter-in-law plant hunter, Fiona. But there is dirty work afoot in the nursery garden. Deep seated resentments bubble to the surface and, after plenty of hints and innuendos, a murder is committed. Who did what, how & why to whom?? The play is in two parts: the first tells the story leading up to the murder. During the interval, the audience has a chance to register their guesses of the name of the victim, the name of the murderer, the motive and the method on slips of paper which are collected at the end of Interval. The second part of the story which reveals the answers is then performed. A prize is given at the end of the play to the person/s who have correctly guessed the answers to the above questions. |
